The Brezzas have been restaurateurs and hoteliers for three generations, transforming this area’s genuine vocation into a family-run business. In the stylishly-furnished restaurant, or - weather permitting - on the terrace with its unforgettable view, diners are given the opportunity of choosing from a vast range of dishes: the home-made pastas, from tajarin to agnolotti del plin, stand out in particular, along with the king of the Langhe - the truffle - when it’s in season. Not to be missed either are the hors-d’oeuvres, where Piedmontese cooking really comes into its own. A central role at the table is also reserved for Barolo. Around 70 labels of the wine feature in the extensive wine-list, including the Barolo produced by the family’s own historic winery that dates back to 1885. After dinner, guests can stay the night in one of the rooms furnished with nineteenth-century Piedmontese antiques, enjoying views over the surrounding vineyards and Barolo castle, from which the wine itself takes its name.
