MORNING TOUR: ROERO TOUR discovering fruit, wine and honey

h. 09.00 Departure from Alba on the trail of the fruit orchards 

h. 09.30 Stop-off at the fruit & veg market in Canale for a comparative tasting of the fruit of the Roero: from apricots to peaches from July thru September, adding pears, plums and apples in August

h. 10.15 Transfer to the Enoteca in Canale for a tasting of the wines of the Roero

h. 11.00 Transfer to Montà, home to the Ecomuseum of the Rocche and the Honey Trail, with a “panoramic” tasting of various types of honey

h. 12.15 Departure to return to Alba

h. 12.45 Arrival in Alba, end of the tour.

AFTERNOON TOUR: ALTA LANGA TOUR discovering CHEESE, HAZELNUTS and SPARKLING WINE

h. 14.00 Departure from Alba

h. 14.30 Stop-off at a small cheese producer with a walk around the farm to see the variety of flora and the sheep at pasture; tasting of raw milk cheeses paired with bread baked in the wooden oven

h. 15.30 Transfer to Cravanzana

h. 16.00 Visit to a farm growing the “Tonda Gentile Hazelnut”, to find out more about its characteristics, tasting properties and the various steps in its production, on a tour tasting dried and toasted hazelnuts, and appreciating their sensorial qualities and just what it is that makes the Langhe variety of hazelnut such a unique product

h. 17.00 Transfer to Bossolasco along the panoramic road through Feisoglio, Niella and S. Benedetto Belbo: places described in the books of the Alba writer and partisan Beppe Fenoglio

h. 17.30 Stroll through the centre of Bossolasco, “the village of roses”, stopping-off in a bar/patisserie to toast the tour with a glass of Spumante Alta Langa

h. 18.30 Return to Alba, with arrival at around 19.00
